The journey begins with game drives in Lake Manyara National Park, followed by exploration of the Serengeti, where participants can witness the wildebeest migration and diverse wildlife. The itinerary includes a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater, offering opportunities to observe a variety of animal species in their natural habitat. Cultural experiences feature interactions with local tribes and a tour of a coffee plantation in Marangu Village. Herd Migration - December-April: in the south of the Serengeti, easily approachable from Arusha
- May-July: in the west Serengeti, toward Lake Victoria
- August-October: in the north Serengeti and Kenya's Mara region
Ngorongoro Crater is virtually good all year round, although March and April are less ideal because of the heavier rains. All the parks have great wildlife viewing during July through October, but the crowds are large.
One of our favorite times is December, January and February. The little rains are mostly over by mid-December until the heavy rains begin in March. The crowds are not there-it is "slow" season. During January and February, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park are excellent for viewing, and Lake Manyara is good. Tarangire National Park is fair.

Day 1 – Pick up at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to hotel in Arusha, other service if needed.
Day 2 - Drive to Manyara for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight. Country Lodge or Bougainvillea Karatu Ngoro
Day 3 - Drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Picnic lunch. Afternoon Game Drive and return to accommodation. Kati Kati tented camp or similar
Day 4 - Breakfast, Full day game drive in Serengeti. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight. Kati Kati tented camp or similar
Day 5 - Early Breakfast, Morning Serengeti Game Drive. Transfer back to Karatu, picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight. Country Lodge or Bougainvillea Karatu Ngoro
